History

Sutton Enterprises (SE) is a professional Human Resource Development (HRD) firm dedicated to helping organizations develop their human capital. Founded by Dianne Floyd Sutton in 1987, SE is the outgrowth of her experience in business, the Federal government and employee development.

Dianne began with a vision of helping organizations eliminate prejudice, biases and stereotypes so that organizations could tap into the unlimited potential of their most valuable resource - the employees. To attain her vision, she placed great importance on designing and delivering training programs that strengthen the connection between employee behavior and organizational effectiveness.

When SE began, it primarily designed and delivered Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) training. SE is a trail-blazer in the design and delivery of the prevention of sexual harassment and diversity awareness training. Dianne realized that "attitude" cannot be legislated nor controlled so SE has focused on making people aware of their behaviors and the impact of their behaviors on others. As a result, SE has created a development and training curriculum to emphasize communication skills, conflict management and resolution, leadership skills and diversity awareness. Over the years, SE also developed a cadre of professional associates. Dianne and this team of multi-disciplined instructors/facilitators have provided employee development and training services to organizations nationwide.
